ABOUT US

This isn’t just restoration.
It’s reverence in action.
It began with a place that refused to be forgotten — a patch of land once teeming with life, where barefoot days were spent beneath whispering grasses and a canopy that shimmered with birdsong and breeze. Time passed, as it does, and years later that same place stood hollow. The light had changed. The birds were gone. The land, once breathing, now choked under a blanket of weeds and silence.

But the ache wasn’t just for what had been lost. It was for how quietly it had vanished — and how few seemed to notice.
From that quiet grief, something stronger took root. A resolve. That land, even when broken, can still heal — if someone stays long enough to help it remember. And so it began: not with blueprints or branding, but with calloused hands, a shovel, and days spent knee-deep in creekbeds and fire scars. Listening. Learning. Undoing damage with patience, not force.
Wildscapes didn’t come from ambition. It came from care — deep, stubborn, enduring care. The kind that doesn’t clock off. The kind that walks country with respect, and returns season after season to see what’s changed — and what still needs tending.
Since that first site, Wildscapes has restored dozens of degraded landscapes across South East Queensland — from riparian zones tangled in cat’s claw to dry sclerophyll woodlands gasping for breath. We've worked alongside landholders, councils, and conservation groups — not as contractors, but as collaborators in something bigger than all of us: the return of the wild.
Led by ecological restoration specialist Brett, Wildscapes was never built to scale fast — only to stay true, and scale right.
That’s the story behind Wildscapes.
And every day, out there on the land, we’re still writing it — maybe with you.
